Dan Lee Isaacs graduated from the University of Bridgeport (Connecticut) in 1964. He then earned a Masters degree and Ph.D. in Education in 1969 from Indiana University. Following that, Dan taught Educational Media and Directed the Media Center at the University of Illinois at Champaign, Illinois. He then moved to Florida where he was an Associate Professor in the Florida State University School of Education as well as the Director of Instructional Technology.
In 1976, Dan Lee Isaacs became licensed as a Real Estate Salesman in Florida and shortly began managing property with Key Realty Management. After becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker a year later, he became an owner in the company which a few years later was renamed KRM Management, Inc. At that time he became the sole owner of the company. Dan began managing Associations along with property management in 1980 and has been extensively involved in their management since that time.
KRM Management, Inc., -- under Dan Lee Isaacs -- managed and sold Tallahassee Real Estate for more than 20 years. During that period of time, KRM Management, Inc., managed more than 700 single-family or attached single-family residences and has also managed apartment complexes. At the same time, Mr. Isaacs managed a number of Homeowners Associations and, therefore, his experience is wide-ranging. In 1993, Coastal Property Services, Inc. sought out and purchased the assets of KRM Management, Inc. and Dan Lee Isaacs remained with Coastal for a period of six months to help them transfer and learn how to handle the increased business. Subsequently, Mr. Isaacs established KRM Realty, Inc., with a primary mission of serving Community Associations.
Dan Lee Isaacs has been managing Community Associations longer than licensure has been required in the Community Associations field in Florida. In fact, he has been managing associations for more than twenty (20) years and although he was grandfathered into the system, he obtained a license in the first year of testing by the Bureau of Condominiums. In 1994, after leaving Coastal Property Services, Inc. Dan Lee Isaacs formed KRM Management, Inc., primarily for the purpose of managing Community Associations. Under the direction of Dan Isaacs, KRM Management, Inc. currently provides Association management services to Seminoles Legends, The Timbers, Indian Oaks West, Indian Village, Cumberland Forest Condominiums, Charleston Square Homeowners Association, the Loins Condominiums, Townhomes of St. George, St. Ives Homeowners Association, the Highlands Homeowners Association. Lenox Mill Homeowners Association, Chateau Lafayette Homeowners Association and The Townhomes of St. George on St. George Island.
Dan Lee Isaacs is a past president of the Capital City Apartment Association and is currently responsible for overseeing their overall program as its Association manager. He was a charter member of the organization and he was instrumental in its founding. He is also active in the Tallahassee Board of Realtors where he served as its treasurer in 1991 and as its President in 1993. He is currently president of the Tallahassee Commercial Council of Real Estate Brokers.
