The Timbers are located on approximately 15 acres of land in the near Northeast area of Tallahassee. There 225 residential townhomes in the community. Approximately 120 of the units were built between 1974 and 1984 while the remainder of the units were built between 1991 and 1993. There are three pools and a tennis court available at the Timbers for homeowners and their guests. In addition, the property is ringed by a jogging trail. Much of the community is heavily populated with large trees, thus the name, the Timbers.
The Timbers Homeowners Association is a mandatory membership association representing all 225 units. Membership on the Board of Directors is open to any homeowner interested in serving on the Board. No less than five (5) Directors [and no more than nine (9) Directors] are elected each year at the annual meeting which is held in October of each year. The Board of Directors meets each month and currently the meetings are genereally on the second Tuesday of the month. The meetings are held at 6 PM at 2121 W.
